Okay, so I got a little vain and succumbed to fellow blogger pressure to change my blogskin to this fancy-pansy one.
Unfortunately for me, the TITLE of each blog entry plus my PROFILE links are missing.
Unfortunately for me, I'm no expert script decoder or writer.
More unfortunately for me, I have so many more pics I'd like to post but how strange a couple more slideshows would look with no title explaining the destination photos taken?
Yes, I hear you Miss Serendipity.

Before I go on, I can't help but make this personal pledge applicable for the next year or so if I can help the cause:
I will not attempt to undertake anymore voluntary 21-hour one-way cattle-class plane rides unless I have a thing for stiff necks and bad omelettes.
Still, it was tremendous fun hopping on to a quasi-road trip with a motley crew of people: a married woman without her husband, a just-married couple (their wedding was a week before we flew off to the States) and joined by a surrogate Torontonian half contemplating on stringing her gung-ho parents along to traverse for 16 days across the cities of New York/Niagara/Toronto/Montreal/New Hampshire/Boston/Washington.
Of course, there were the blazing days of 40-degree heatwaves which sent every enthusiastic sightseer to the airconditioned refuges and resulted in early nights in, badly melted and coagulated Hershey Reeses bits (grrr!), long rainy drives with pit-stops at chain outlets for blah coffee and on one occasion, having to squeeze 5 adults into dollhouse-tiny cottage accommodation.
Still, the good times outnumbered the bad; frenzied Coach and outlet shopping sprees, watching the sun set over the Manhattan skyline from the top of the Empire State building, feeling overwhelmed by the startling beauty of being in the midst of the Horseshoe Falls, soaking ourselves in our own little piece of heaven in a flowing rivers and lakes of gorgeous New Hampshire, overdosing on the all-American burgers and hearty breakfasts, impromptu singalong karaoke sessions on late-night drives and last but not least, constantly excellent companionship peppered with innuendo-filled humour. Not to forget that sumptuous Cuban dinner on the last night in NYC. *Drools*.
Thank you all you lovely people for such a wonderful time. Now, time to face the credit card bills for some hard-hitting reality.
