Please tell me the purple one's not worth paying S$552 for. My Sony DSC-W5 pales in comparison aesthetically. I admit, I am a (super) superficial person.

I had some time (and limited internet connectivity) to spare in the weekends after too much shopping so I decided to give a detailed shopping guide.

Conversely, I think I paid the tourism board of Japan more tourist dollars than me promoting the country on their behalf here.
